Vintage Solid Brass Picture Frame; Oval W/Heavily Ornate Angel Cherub Design

This exquisite oval shaped solid brass picture frame is embossed with a heavily ornate Victorian Angel cherub design on the top & sides. Has two scrolled feet in the front for standing & attached easel with scrolled design on the back held on by screws that adjust & move to lay flat. Four adjustable turn mounts with screws on back that hold cardboard backing & frame glass & loosen to insert a 5” x 7” photo. Frame is heavy at just over 2 lbs & dimensions are 11” L, 9” H, 3 1/2” W with easel fully open. Exact age of the picture frame is not known but believed to be from mid-1800’s to early 1900’s. Numbers “309” are engraved in wing of left top Angel cherub but uncertain of meaning. Frame is in wonderful antique vintage condition with no chips or cracks & no discoloration to aged brass. Original glass has two small markings on bottom right but smooth to the touch. See photos.
