Vintage solid brass Victorian Baroque Rococo mail and letter holder. It is also known as a Desk Tidy. This piece will look beautiful on any desk or bookshelf. It has beautiful intricate and detailed scrollwork. There are two divisions to hold letters, a book or paper. It has a functional clamshell shaped tray on the front that holds stamps, coins, or pins. The piece measures 6.5” wide at its widest point, 5” tall and 6.5” deep along the bottom from the front of the clamshell to the back feet. It is a very heavy piece and is in beautiful condition.
