Gorgeous vintage Sterling silver ring with an amethyst solitaire stone. The best part is the setting. The ring shank and prongs are all one piece, and the stone sits high. So, rather than the prongs being attached to the ring shank, the prongs are part of the shank. I’m sure there is a name for it, but I don’t know what it is. Just love it! It is also a nice and solid— to think and it has rounded edges, so it is comfortable. It is a very well made piece. It is stamped 925 and is a size 7.
