Vintage Sterling Silver Wingback Large Crystal Earrings
The wingback was invented and patented by Judith McCann on Jan 14th 1947 I have a couple of pictures in the listing photos, one of the patented design
5 Large *CLEAR* crystal stones - they are not green! My photos have a green tint, I suspect it's the reflection of my phone case because that's how much light these beauties give off!
Marked 'WINGBACK PAT 244382 STER' at the clip
I suspect the wingback clips are Sterling and the setting for the stones are a silver tone metal
One 10mm stone at the center with three 8mm stones. A half moon with 6 small individual stones that sits on top of a 4mm stone - in other words, these are flashy and glamorous!
Nice vintage condition with light tarnish and light bending at the wingbacks. Overall, these are stunners with a neat history
