This vintage teapot has a large blue daisy painted on both sides surrounded by small gold transferware flowers. The spout, handle, lid and rims are trimmed with gold. I have seen the same blue daisy on Shawnee teapots but have not seen them with the smaller gold flowers. The bottom is marked USA as some Shawnee pieces are so it could be. It is in good condition. The lid has a crack on the edge and a chip out of the piece that holds the lid in place. see photos. The gold is wearing away form the knob on the lid to reveal blue underneath. The pot itself has no chips or cracks, there is very heavy staining on the inside. see photos. Some of the gold trim has worn away, particularly on the handle.
