Vintage Vera Neumann split wingtip scarf early Easter egg pattern navy red white

What a great find! This listing is for a fantastic very early Vera scarf in her original split wingtip configuration. There aren’t too many of these early pieces around these days. This scarf is made of durable and strong, yet soft and sleek silk showing no signs of aging/fatigue. The scarf has super tightly hand rolled edges. The edges of the scarf vary measuring between 14 1/2 and 16”, the slit measures about 15 ½”. The scarf itself does have a printed logo (some of the very early Vera scarves did not), but there is no material tag.

The whimsical decorated egg design and the classic color combination of red, white and blue would allow you to wear this scarf not only for Easter, but for just about any occasion, business or casual. The scarf is in good condition, especially, considering its age. There are no structural issues, very slight evidence of dye transfer is present.
