Oh look at this beauty !! Vintage 1940’s Elgin, romantic , shabby chic , wedding compact finished in a cream colored enamel .. the wedding theme saddle shape compact has 2 blue birds holding wedding bands with small floral accents .. the edges are finished in gold streaming bows with blue wedding bells and the floral accents .. the compact opens to a gold trimmed mirror and the original powder puff .. the gold below the powder puff is signed Elgin American , made in the USA and etched with an engine turned wave design … this piece opens to hold the powder .. comes with a burgundy case .. Measures 3 1/2" x 3" x 3/8" .. great condition for its age .. mirror is in beautiful shape .. no chips in the enamel and still has great color in the wedding theme .. smoke and pet free
