Vintage/Antique Copper Ewer Pitcher with Lid, Hand-Hammered:Middle Eastern

Beautiful hand-hammered copper pitcher with hinged lid from the Middle Eastern/Ottoman region. Features a wide flared base, slender waist, and riveted strap handle. Its spout and domed lid with finial show classic design elements found in 19th–early 20th century copperwork.
Originally, pieces were used for water, wine, or handwashing as part of traditional daily life and ceremonies. The craftsmanship is evident in the hammered texture and hand-forged details. Copper has developed a rich patina with areas of verdigris oxidation, giving it authentic antique character.
Solid copper; Ottoman/Islamic/Persian folk style metalwork; Hinged lid, riveted handle, hand-hammered body, flared base; Antique with age wear, patina, oxidation, and surface marks consistent with use (see photos). Interior shows dark oxidation from age. Lid and handle are sturdy.
