Vintage pressed glass candy dish base in a light amethyst (pale lavender) color, featuring a high-density beaded dart band and a substantial footed base. This piece is believed to be the base from a covered candy dish, with the lid no longer present. The bowl displays a fine, closely spaced dart band, creating strong light refraction and sparkle. The rim is smooth and flat, consistent with a form designed to accept a fitted lid rather than an open compote. Based on proportions, decoration, and construction, this piece is attributed by design to the Duncan & Miller “Beaded Dart” pattern.
