This is a thin, fabric patch, the blue has a velvety feel. It has some dirt and stains. When I went to brush lint off of it, some of the blue came off so it's pretty fragile. It's a rare piece, I was unfortunately unable to find much information and therefore unable to truly verify what it is. If you're a collector, please check the photos, I will try to share every detail. It came from the estate of an antique dealer/collector who had a lot of WWII items.
