Walli Ortman is a Cincinnati sculptress, wife and mother. Beginning in December, 1971, she began creating abstract sculpture of children doing things children do. Using memories of her own children, children of friends and neighbors and even photos in newspapers, she has captured, in simple but definitive strokes, the pretend and play world of little people everywhere. Cast in Hudson pewter and accented with copper, The Littles are with us as durable quality gifts and collectibles.
