The bodice is a semi-sheer lace with light boning and small pads/cups loosely stitched to the inside to prevent nipping. A small line of tulle across the top of the bodice softens the straight neckline. The crepe bottom half is fitted through the hips and gently flows out. A thin layer of tulle underneath the lining keeps the bottom full and enhances to your hourglass shape. Very small “train” in the back, just enough to sweep the floor a little behind you. The closure includes a barely there zipper and small hook at the top. French bustle.
I had the dress dry cleaned after our wedding. During dry cleaning, the silk liner on the inside ripped away at the seam by the zipper in a couple places. This should be easy to repair or replace.
***I do not have the original size, but I have broad shoulders and wear a US size 6. This dress fit me perfectly!***
