Wellmark Chlorhexidine Spray is an antiseptic, antibacterial and antifungal spray for dogs and cats which contains 2% Chlorhexidine Gluconate to help manage superficial skin conditions associated with bacteria and fungi.

Use in between baths to provide fast relief of irritation from skin conditions such as, but not limited to:
Pyoderma
Yeast dermatitis
Ringworm
Hot spots
For best results, use in combination with Wellmark Medicated Chlorhexidine Shampoo.

Conditions:
Pyoderma is a common skin condition most often caused by bacterial infection. It often presents with pustules on the skin, which are red, raised bumps filled with white pus. Other signs include dry, flaky skin, itching, and hair loss. Warm, moist areas on the skin such as facial or neck folds, armpits may be at higher risk for skin fold pyoderma.
Yeast dermatitis is a very common in dogs and is caused by an abnormal overproduction of the yeast that is normally found on the pet’s skin. Signs and symptoms of include itching, redness, musty odor, flaky or scaly skin, changes in skin texture and hair loss.

How to use the product
Step 1: Shake well. Determine spray requirement for your pet: 1 spray per 5 kg
The number of sprays may be doubled for long-haired dogs.
Step 2: Brush the pet against the natural fur line and, holding the pump 30 cm from pet’s body, apply the spray to the targeted area.
May be used once or twice a week or as directed by your veterinarian for the specific skin disorder being treated.
