This plate is part of a commemorative tea service from Bethania chapel Aberdare- Capel Bethania Aberdar. I believe this chapel was a Calvinistic Methodist chapel which no longer exists in the town. There are no cracks or chips in the plate, but it has a couple of signs of wear as can be seen in photograph two. The Gilded writing has been applied by hand and is still quite shiny considering its age. Maker: W. H.
