This is a pencil, not a ballpoint pen.
Lead diameter: 1.18mm.
It has a mechanism to hold the lead inside.
In many Yard-O-Led pencils, the lead is stuck inside.
I haven't tried it, but the lead might be stuck.
As expected, the mechanism has been confirmed to work, and there are no problems with use.

They are not visible when the clip is attached.
These dents are also common in old pens and can make the pen look very appealing.
